There are many a band I love and have not had the chance and in many cases I wont get to and it sucks, but thats life, print it onto a tshirt and fuck it on a vacation out of my life.

However, There are some that I have yet to meet and if given the chance I would shit bricks to be able to hang out with the following…

1, Tom Waits – the man is amazing, if you have never heard of him or his music start with ‘Blood Money’ or ‘Frank’s Wild Years pt1′

2, Satyricon – I love this band, amazing drumming, cool lyrics and they don’t seem like your atypical black metal band, so I dig them for that also.

3, Rancid – again, a band I have loved since I first heard them back when. no matter how I’m feeling, I can throw on ‘And Out Come The Wolves’ and instantly I am a happier person, it’s a strange power that record has on me…

4, The Muffs – little unknown band fronted by an angry woman that looks like Reese Witherspoon but skinny and angry. Check out ‘Blonder and Blonder’ via a google image search and see what I mean.

5, Radiohead – ok, everyone knows who these guys are. I do not think OK Computer is the best record they made, I still like the guitar work and song structure of ‘The Bends’. I cannot imagine they will make a better record myself.

6, Danzig – i like midgets, I like metal. Nuff said.

7, Axl Rose. See above for justification for this one.

8, AC/DC – just because is the reason for this one, I adore the ‘Back In Black’ record more than anything they have done and would be a royal pleasure to get my copy signed by the guys.

9, Jimmy Eat World – Random as these guys may be, when I first heard ‘Bleed American’ I had an epiphany and my life became better. That was that I could relate to a record again.

10, Glassjaw – These guys made one of the best records in the world with their second record, and I also have a fetish for ‘Head Automatica’.

11, The Cult – ‘Sonic Temple’ is amazing. No other word. I would love to have a chat with Mr Duffy.

12, Lou Reed – OK, who wouldn’t like to meet the guy that sung ‘Perfect day’? I for one fucking would. A poet with a guitar. There are not enough men like Lou in the world. And we need more.

13, Richard Cheese – He never fails to put a smile on my face, and I’m quite sure he is a funny guy in real life.

14, Portishead – I had another life changing experience when I heard ‘Dummy’ for the first time. Up until this point I had never really been a fan of female vocalists. Beth changed that and I would love to have a coffee and a smoke with her sometime.

Well thats it, a nice mix of loud and non loud in my opinion.

Of course, I must admit that there are some bands I would love to meet again, and they are: Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Bleeding Through, Darkest Hour, Killswitch Engage, and Metallica.

I say again as some of them were awesome to hang out with, and some I didn’t get to hang for as long as would have been cool.
